Terms of Use

Effective July 31, 2026

These terms govern use of the NeighborBoost website and online service. A hardware purchase or paid service requires a separate written order or agreement.

1. Agreement to these terms

By using neighborboost.app or a NeighborBoost claim, Friend Pass, owner, or staff page, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use the service for a business, you represent that you are authorized to act for that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What NeighborBoost provides

NeighborBoost supports guaranteed return offers, separately attributed Friend Passes, protected staff redemption, and tenant-scoped business reporting. Availability, features, hardware, onboarding, hosting, support, and pricing for a buyer are controlled by the applicable written order or agreement.

NeighborBoost does not promise a particular number of customers, referrals, redemptions, sales, or amount of revenue. “Estimated attributed revenue” is an estimate calculated as verified redemptions multiplied by the business’s configured average transaction value. It is not audited revenue.

3. Offers and redemptions

The participating business is responsible for its offer wording, value, eligibility, expiration, availability, and compliance with applicable law. Offer terms shown on a claim are part of that offer. Offers are one-time unless expressly stated otherwise, cannot be transferred except through the designated Friend Pass, and may be rejected when expired, invalid, already redeemed, or outside their stated terms.

NeighborBoost offers must be guaranteed, not random. The service may not be used for gambling, lotteries, sweepstakes, prize wheels, review gating, fake reviews, or incentives conditioned on a positive public review.

4. Accounts and security

Owner and staff access is limited to authorized users. You must protect credentials, use the correct role for each person, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access or a lost device. You may not share owner controls with customers, bypass access controls, probe another business’s data, extract secrets, interfere with service operation, or submit false redemptions or events.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use NeighborBoost unlawfully; misrepresent an offer or result; infringe another person’s rights; introduce malicious code; overload or scrape the service; reverse engineer protected service components except where law permits; impersonate another person; or attempt to access another tenant’s information. We may limit or suspend access reasonably necessary to protect customers, businesses, the service, or legal compliance.

6. Customer content and configuration

A business retains responsibility for business names, logos, offer descriptions, terms, staff information, and other material it supplies. The business grants NeighborBoost permission to process and display that material solely to provide and support the service. The business represents that it has the rights and authority needed to supply it.

7. Intellectual property

NeighborBoost and its product design, software, interface, documentation, wordmark, and related materials are owned by NeighborBoost or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These terms provide a limited, revocable right to use the service as intended; they do not transfer ownership.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. The core customer claim does not require a customer account, name, phone number, or email address.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Connectivity, maintenance, security incidents, third-party infrastructure, or circumstances outside reasonable control may affect access. We may make changes needed for security, compliance, reliability, or product improvement while honoring applicable written agreements.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the website and online service are provided “as is” and “as available.” NeighborBoost disclaims implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This section does not limit warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived, and any written hardware warranty controls for a purchase.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, NeighborBoost will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising from use of the website or service. Any enforceable limitation, remedy, governing law, dispute process, or warranty for a paid purchase is stated in the signed order or agreement. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice when required. Questions may be sent to deallomcconnell@gmail.com. Please do not send credentials or claim links by email.
